Question that elicited the "most ridiculously wrong answer"

This question appeared in the first round of VETO 2001, and was written by the FARSIDE team.

TOSSUP 11
In the centre, a bearded Spanish gentleman stands holding a sheaf of
documents. Seated before him are a native of Africa, who appears
relaxed, and a native of Asia, who appears not at all relaxed, looking
with horror at his outstretched thumb. This picture flashed across
computer monitors around the world in February, 2001, on, for 10
points, what university's main web page celebrating its NAQT sectional
win?

Answer: _S_imon _F_raser _U_niversity (Quincy team)
[do NOT accept "Simon FRASIER University"]

Brock's answer after hearing the whole tossup was "University of Chicago."

The picture described in the question can also be seen accompanying a Simon Fraser University News article.
