Gotta know 'em, eh?

"Gotta know 'em, eh?" is a monthly article that highlights a category and a list of ten answers that CAQL members have judged to be the most valuable to know for quiz bowl. These will be the people, places, communities, events, or ideas that have had the strongest and most far-reaching impact on history (perhaps mixed with those that had the most interesting and memorable stories associated with them). The lists will include brief summaries of the answers' importance, but will in no way aspire to be a complete description of the answers' significance.

Thanks to NAQT for the idea. NAQT has a list of Hockey Hall of Famers that you've gotta know.
