The Canadian Academic Quiz League is a distinct society of students at Canadian universities who compete against each other in quiz tournaments in Canada.

NEW! The tenth Vancouver Estival Trivia Open and a mirror in Toronto took place on July 19, 2008. Congratulations to the winning teams: UBC B in Vancouver, and Toronto A in Toronto.

NEW! Congratulations to the University of Western Ontario team of first-year students Peter Burton, Will Nediger, and Will Pazner, for finishing second place in NAQT's Division II Invitational Championship Tournament on April 11 — 12, 2008. This tournament had 29 American teams and 3 Canadian teams, playing on American questions. Of the 134 players, Peter Burton was the leading individual scorer in tossup points per game!
