The Canadian Academic Quiz League is a distinct society of students at Canadian universities who compete against each other in quiz tournaments in Canada.

NEW! The tenth Vancouver Estival Trivia Open and a mirror in Toronto will take place on Saturday, July 19, 2008. Each participating team must bring an original packet of questions following the question guidelines, and must have some experience in writing questions in the quiz bowl format. The deadline for application is July 1.

NEW! Congratulations to the University of Western Ontario team of first-year students Peter Burton, Will Nediger, and Will Pazner, for finishing second place in NAQT's Division II Invitational Championship Tournament on April 11 — 12, 2008. This tournament had 29 American teams and 3 Canadian teams, playing on American questions. Of the 134 players, Peter Burton was the leading individual scorer in tossup points per game!
