The Canadian Academic Quiz League is a distinct society of students at Canadian universities who compete against each other in quiz tournaments in Canada.

NEW! On Saturday, February 6, 2010, McMaster University in Hamilton, ON, will be be hosting an NAQT Sectional Tournament for university and college students. All questions will be written by NAQT. There are multiple sites: McMaster is the only one in Canada, but teams from Western Canada should play at the University of Washington in Seattle, and teams from Manitoba should play at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis.

NEW! On Saturday, February 20, 2010, the University of Guelph will be hosting the Academic Competition Federation Regional Tournament for university, college, and high school students. Each team will have to submit an original packet of questions, and there are discounts for sending it before January 10. Exception: teams that are new to quiz bowl will not have to write a packet of questions!

NEW! On Saturday March 20, 2010, the University of Ottawa will be hosting the sixth annual Ottawa Hybrid Tournament for university, college, and high school students. There will also be a mirror at the University of Waterloo. Each team will have to submit an original packet of questions, and there are discounts for sending it before February 28, 2010.
