The NAQT Canadian Sectionals were held at the University of Western Ontario, on February 10, 2001. There were 8 Division I teams, and 4 Division II teams: Bowling Green State University (Div. I) McMaster University (Div. I) University of Michigan C (Div. I) University of Michigan D (Div. I) University of Michigan E (Div. II) Michigan State University A (Alpha Sigma Sigma Pledge Class 2001) (Div. I) Michigan State University B (Canaan Banana Awareness Society Local #42) (Div. I I) Queen's University (Div. I) University of Rochester (Kentucky Fried Panda) (Div. I) University of Toronto (St. Mike's) (Div. II) University of Waterloo (Div. I) Univeristy of Western Ontario (Div. II) Michigan A and B were somewhere else (DePauw I believe). Toronto was going to bring two (Division II) teams, but could only bring one, so we replaced them with a UWO team made up of various players at the last minute. Michigan State A won Division I (and were also Division I undergraduate winners), and Michigan E won Division II. Michigan State A won a set of Tangrams and some CD's, and Michigan E also won some CD's. (These CD's, from 1999 and 2000, are given to first-year students in their orientation kits and feature usually no-name and/or crappy music that is played on UWO's radio station. Also, there was a CD of Canadian music that had previously been given free with a pair of pants that were bought at Eaton's.) Here are the final standings: Team Div.
