The University of Waterloo hosted the Canadian sectional of National
Academic Quiz Tournaments on Saturday, February 12, 2000.
There were six teams:

University of Waterloo Witness Relocation Program (div. 1)
University of Waterloo Crazy Frosh (div. 2)
University of Western Ontario A (div. 1, undergrads)
University of Western Ontario B (div. 2)
Queen's University (div. 1, undergrads)
McMaster University (div. 2)

The teams played a double round-robin followed by a double-elimination
playoff.  Queen's defeated Western A in the final game.

Final results:
Overall champion:  Queen's
Undergraduate champion:  Queen's
Division 2 champion:  McMaster and Western B (shared)

The overall champion, Queen's, and the host school, Waterloo, both
received Division 1 invitations to the Intercollegiate Championship
Tournament to be held at Boston University in April.  McMaster
received a Division 2 invitation.

first-round byes in the double-elimination playoffs.  Results were as
