The First Annual Canadian National Trivia Competition, the Bruno Gerussi
Open, was held at Queen's University on March 28, 1998.  The tournament
used NAQT questions with a generous dose of Canadiana from various
sources; about 13% of the original questions were modified.

Because of the last-minute loss of Windsor, Western and McGill, the
field
consisted of 8 teams.  The final order of finish is:

2. Cornell
3. MIT/Harvard/Wellesley
4. Ottawa
5. Pennsylvania State University
6. Waterloo B
7. Queen's B
8. Waterloo A

Queen's A defeated Cornell 225-215 in the championship game.

A full-round robin was played to seed the teams.  After 7 rounds, the

Thanks to everybody who helped out, especially my editing crew, who
